The LSC has successfully held the first Science Classroom for students in the 2nd year of ESO, within the framework of the Communication and School Forum organised by the Principality of Asturias, in which 46 students from 5 high schools in Asturias have lived together with 15 students from schools in Jaca with a scientific programme designed to suit their needs.
Among many other activities, the students had the opportunity to develop their own experiments with radon detectors and to study the interaction of cosmic rays.
They were also able to visit the underground facilities and learn what kind of experiments the laboratory hosts.
