LSC GUIDED VISITS
During the school term, September to June, the LSC dedicates visits to groups of students (minimum age 16) giving priority to those with an interest in Physics.
For private individuals (minimum age 12), visits are offered some Fridays during July and August. You may send your request to the following email address: info@lsc-canfranc.es
Free Guided Visits
The LSC offers visits to its facilities, guided by a staff member, to groups of students or science enthusiasts. The visits are free of charge and last approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes; they include a presentation of the history, science and experiments of the LSC which takes place at the lab’s auditorium, followed by a tour of the underground facilities. The LSC will not offer visits on weekends or public holidays.
Limited visits
Visits are limited to 25 people in one single group. The minimum recommended age to access the LSC is 16 or over (for children below this age you need to make your request to the laboratory). Groups of over 10 people need to provide their own transport (bus) to be able to access the underground facilities.
Overground Museum
For groups of cultural interest, the LSC has opened a new museum overground. For information regarding these visits please get in contact with Canfranc Estacion’s Tourism Office.
