On October 13 and 14, the LSC hosted the “DULIA-bio 2015” conference, dedicated to Integrated Biology Activities in Underground Laboratories. The objectives of the conference were to spread interest in this promising new field of research, to form a new community of scientists and technicians working in underground laboratories, and to be the first in a series of meetings to be held in the four deep underground laboratories that exist in Europe. Some 30 people attended this event, which featured speakers from 15 institutions and 8 different countries.
