The LSC continues its implosion test campaign to validate the protective covers for the sensors of the future HK neutrino telescope. Due to increasing work demands, the seventh campaign was conducted for the first time at the PLOCAN ICTS (Gran Canaria).
During this campaign, new instrumentation was validated to better record the implosion process and its destructive effects, as well as a new mechanism for anchoring the PMT-cover assembly to the HK structure.
