The Minister of State for Science, Innovation and Universities and the Science Chief Adviser on Innovation and Research visited LSC
The Minister of State for Science, Innovation and Universities, Pedro Duque, and the Science Chief Adviser on Innovation and Research, Pilar Alegría, visited the LSC’s underground facilities.
The Minister pointed out that his interest in the LSC was “enormously arisen” by its peculiarity. He highlighted the “high quality level of the research projects” which are carried out in our laboratory and he praised the “huge potential” of our facilities. With regards to the experiments he commented that “new results in the field of Physics can arise from two to four of them”. The Chief Adviser Pilar Alegría also expressed her satisfaction highlighting the “worldwide research” which has been taking place in Canfranc during the last 10 years.
