Talks on Safety, GLIMOS
Taking advantage of the annual meeting of the GLIMOS (Group Leader in Matter of Safety) of the approved LSC experiments, the Director invited two safety experts from the LNGS (Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso) to give talks on this subject and visit our facilities.
Workshop on Underground Muon Measurements
Students and researchers from MIPT (Moscow Institute for Physics and Technology) traveled to the LSC to join this workshop and participate in discussions on data collection and simulation tactics for muon flux monitoring. Students from other national institutions also participated in this workshop.
2016 GTFE Reunion Tunnel du Somport
On June 9 and 10, our facilities hosted the GTFE (Groupe de travail francophone des exploitants de tunnels routiers) Reunion, which brought together operations managers from various international tunnels. The reunion program included a tour of the laboratory's underground facilities.
18th Meeting of the LSC Scientific Committee
