Fifty researchers from around the world traveled to Canfranc to participate in a conference where they exchanged highly specialized knowledge and also learned about some aspects of the art, cuisine, and landscape of Canfranc and the Jacetania region. The scientific debates revolved around prokaryotic molecular biology, which refers to the “wonderful and unexpected things” that bacteria do. Among the parallel and complementary activities to these conferences, a visit to the LSC stood out, following the celebration of one of its scientific conferences at its facilities.
