Over this summer, members of the staff of the NEXT experiment from England, Spain and the United States completed the assembly and insertion of the NEXT-100 TPC.
This electric field chamber and luminescence zone form part of the interior of the detector, and is what will allow the electron traces coming from Xenon-136 decay to be observed.
