Effect of low radiation environment on the activity of antimicrobials (DarkABX)
Experiment developed by the Mycobacterial Genetics group (Antibiotics Team), University of Zaragoza.
The aim of this proposal is to demonstrate whether commonly used antibiotics and antimicrobial molecules, with known mechanisms of action, would have differential activity against different pathogens in low radiation environments compared to their surface activity.

Testing microbial Evolution under Low Environmental RAdiation (TELERA)
Experiment developed by researchers at the Centre for Astrobiology (CAB) and the Centre for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics (CBGP).
The aim is to obtain populations of E. coli adapted to low levels of radiation, evaluating their adaptation and ability to acquire antibiotic tolerance in the presence and absence of radiation, as well as the role of oxidative damage repair in this adaptive process.

Bacteria in heavy water (IF)
An experiment carried out by a multidisciplinary team of researchers from the Severo Ochoa Centre for Molecular Biology (CBM-CSIC-UAM), the Centre for Astrobiology (CAB, CSIC-INTA), the Autonomous University of Madrid, the CSIC and the University of Tübingen (Germany).
Its aim is to investigate how a low–radiation environment influences the survival and evolution of a bacterial community isolated in high–purity heavy water (D₂O), whilst assessing the possible role of background radiation in its viability.
