The LSC has started to organize of series of thematic workshops on science and technology related to the activities carried out at the laboratory. The meetings will consist on stays of scientists and technologists during one or two weeks in Canfranc to develop the research in an interactive environment.
The pilot program has consisted in a workshop about the candidates to dark matter alternative to WIMPS and their cosmological implications. In particular, the workshop has been centered in astrophysics and cosmological signs of dark matter formed by axions. This pilot program has been complemented with the exploration of research areas such as biology and physics in extreme environments at low radioactivity.
